Today, along with our industry partners the UK Major Ports Group, the BPA Chairman and Director met with the UK Ports Minister Robert Goodwill to discuss a number of issues facing the ports industry.
Today, along with our industry partners the UK Major Ports Group, the BPA Chairman and Director met with the UK Ports Minister Robert Goodwill to discuss a number of issues facing the ports industry. On the agenda was the EU Port Services Regulation, the Maritime Growth Study, road spending and the impact of the recent floods.
The Associations also took the opportunity to congratulate Mr Goodwill on his promotion to Minister of State, which we hope will also contribute towards the elevation of maritime policy and activity in Westminster and beyond.
