Milford Haven achieves ISO 14001 certification

The Port of Milford Haven has achieved ISO certification for Health and Safety (ISO 45001), Environment (14001) and Quality (ISO 9001) after an independent audit process completed by NQA, one of the main global certification bodies. This means that the port is recognised for its management of the key processes that are core to making its business safe, more sustainable, and customer focused, whilst constantly reviewing how it can continually improve. Specifically, ISO 14001, guarantees that the ports has a robust Environmental Management System (ESM) in place, ensuring that they are taking proactive measures to minimise their environmental footprint, comply with relevant legal requirements, and achieve their environmental objectives. The framework encompasses various aspects, from resource usage and waste management to monitoring environmental performance involving stakeholders in environmental commitments.
