We would like to inform you of an up coming webinar to help BPA members understand what we might expect from the new UK government, the BPA is holding an internal online briefing session to examine how Labour’s manifesto could be implemented and what could be relevant for the ports industry.

This will include insights from the BPA’s Director of Policy & External Affairs and Richard Ballantyne OBE Chief Executive of the BPA on what the shadow Labour team have expressed to us previously as well as reflections on the recent ministerial appointments. We expect a focus on planning reform, a change in direction on borders, a new sovereign wealth fund which could include offshore wind port infrastructure funding and in the longer term, potential closer working with the EU.

Join us online on Monday 15 July at 11:00 – 12:00, you can register for this webinar using the registration link here: Registration Here

A Microsoft teams link shall be sent to you by Friday the 12 of July, if you do not receive this link, please contact: shenaz.bussawon@britishports.org.uk
