Calling all ports, terminals and marinas! We are holding a special ‘Introduction to the Port Marine Safety Code’ online training session
We are holding a ‘Introduction to the Port Marine Safety Code‘ online training session at 10:00-11:30 on Friday 3rd March 2023.
This training session is introductory in nature and will be of particular interest to those who are not familiar with the Port Marine Safety Code (PMSC). The sessions are hosted by the BPA but delivered by our partners ABPmer.
This will include those who manage and/or own terminals and marinas (as the PMSC applies to all marine facilities), plus those who are new to the ports sector.
The PMSC is the UK government’s guidelines on how ports assess and manage marine safety risks in port areas and it now applies to non-statutory terminals, marine facilities and marinas, as well as port and harbour authorities. The Maritime & Coastguard Agency oversee its adoption compliance around the UK.
A joining link shall be sent directly to your email, if you do not receive this please do check your junk/spam inbox.
The webinars are free for BPA members and there is no limit on how many duty holders from a single port can attend a seminar. For non BPA members, it will cost £30 +VAT to attend.
If you have any queries please contact Shenaz Bussawon at the British Ports Association – firstname.lastname@example.org / 020 7260 1780.
