Attendees will gain new insights into coastal shipping, look at the barriers faced by industry and consider the solutions, and learn how coastal shipping can revolutionise the green supply chain. The event will look at examples and case studies and hear from experts across our industry.

The focus will cover both bulk and unitised cargo, looking at domestic and international activities. The UK has a huge offering of ports across all regions and some real opportunities to ease traditional congested freight routes.

Modal shift has been talked about for some time but interest is growing in water freight solutions. Indeed coastal shipping can support the UK’s green aspirations and in part help as a measure to deal with the current HGV driver shortages.

This event has limited capacity and is in-person only. Tickets will therefore be available on a first-come first-served basis. Please click the website link above to sign up.

Our event is hosted by ARUP at 80 Charlotte Street. ARUP will be running an event in the same venue later in the afternoon on Decarbonising Shipping – Opportunities for the UK. We encourage our attendees to also register for ARUP’s event. The agenda is here and you can sign up here.
