Liverpool and Greenock are important cruise ports serving the UK and the wider British Isles. Liverpool Cruise Port recorded 112 cruise ship calls and 204,153 passengers in 2025, including both transit and turnaround passengers. Its city-centre location and facilities can accommodate vessels up to 345 metres. Greenock Cruise Port, on the River Clyde, handled 82 ship calls and 145,166 passengers in 2025. The port provides berthing and passenger facilities for a range of cruise vessels and acts as a key gateway to Scotland. Both ports have experienced strong growth in recent years, supported by investment in infrastructure, increased cruise capacity and rising demand for UK cruise itineraries.
