Global Insurer Re-affirms Support for BPA Conference in Dover

The British Ports Association (BPA) has confirmed that leading global transport and logistics insurer – TT Club – will once again be an official Event Partner, when its 2026 Annual Conference and Exhibition takes place at the Port of Dover on 21 – 22 October 2026.

TT Club is an independent provider of mutual insurance and related risk management services to the international transport and logistics industry, whose services include specialist underwriting, claims management and risk and loss management advice, all supported by a global office network.

As part of its sponsorship of the event, TT Club will host a Welcome Reception at the port’s Cruise Terminal One, on Tuesday 20 October, with senior TT Club staff attending both days of the official event programme.

TT Club will also be speaking at the main conference, sharing its knowledge and experience and furthering its global mission, to make the transport and logistics industry safer, more secure and more sustainable.

Richard Ballantyne OBE, chief executive of the British Ports Association, said; “We are delighted to welcome back TT Club as an Event Partner for BPA 2026 in Dover. At a time when the safety and security of maritime vessels and seafarers has been incredibly high on the agenda, it is fantastic to have first-hand input from an organisation of TT Club’s calibre and reputation within our programme.

“We’ve had an incredible response from the industry since launching our Annual Conference & Exhibition last month and we are looking forward to working alongside TT Club, and our other sponsors and partners, to deliver another memorable event this October.”

Harry Palmer, Risk Assessment Manager from TT Club said; “We are delighted to support the BPA Annual Conference and to contribute to discussions on the evolving risk landscape facing ports. Strengthening resilience across the supply chain remains a priority, and collaboration across the port community is key to achieving this.”

It is anticipated that the 2026 BPA Annual Conference & Exhibition will be attended by more than 400 delegates, with around 45 exhibiting companies taking part, from across the ports and maritime sector. The Port of Dover’s Cruise Terminal One will also be the venue for the 2026 BPA Awards & Gala Dinner on Thursday 22 October, where the winners of six different award categories will be announced.

Delegate tickets for BPA 2026 are selling quickly and there are limited sponsorship opportunities still available. Organisations interested in finding out more about the event can visit www.bpa2026.com or email the event management team at Freshwater on BPAconference@freshwater.co.uk
