Port of Middlesbrough

AV Dawson’s Port of Middlesbrough resides on the mouth of the River Tees in Middlesbrough, North East England.

Operating a 1km long quayside including two deep-water berths, the port can accommodate ships up to 220m in length and 33m beam. The heavy-lift quay is invaluable for supporting cargoes for the offshore wind sector.

The facility is supported with the latest plant equipment including onsite Gottwald harbour cranes with lifting capacity up to 125 tonnes.

Port of Middlesbrough is a secondary customs zone in Teesside Freeport. It also has temporary storage and customs bonded warehousing. All three regimes provide customers with the opportunity to defer or delay import duty on qualifying cargoes.
