Port of Cromarty Firth Services Ltd, the independent supply chain services company operating at the heart of the Port of Cromarty Firth, has been awarded the new ISO 9001:2015 standard for customer service and quality management by QMS International Ltd.
ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organisations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
The certification will remain in place for 10 years. It includes a quality management system designed with a continuous improvement cycle to ensure the best customer service, in areas including quayside support, logistics, supply agency and related services.
Martin Brayshaw, Managing Director, Port of Cromarty Firth Services Ltd, said:

This award demonstrates our commitment to quality and continual improvement.
We have adhered to the very strict principles of quality management set by the Port of Cromarty Firth’s ISO 9001 certification for some time, and applying for our own award was a natural progression.”
