In June 2019, research commissioned by ABP revealed environmental and other benefits of choosing Hull and Immingham for moving cargo between key logistics hubs in the UK and EU. 

Using the Humber can reduce the distance travelled to certain locations, with an average cut in journey times of 5hrs 10mins, and an average saving of 458kg CO2e per load saving around 100,000 tonnes of CO2e every year.
